Embracing New Technology….

In June 2015 we installed some new software called Virtual Cabinet.

The software allows us to scan and store electronic documents as well as send and receive documents via the Virtual Cabinet portal.  The portal has the facility to accept digital signatures via the internet.  We don’t have to worry about printing, posting and waiting for documents to be returned back with signatures.  This means we can improve our efficiency which has to be a good thing.

We are still getting used to how it works and will be making use of it with our customers over the next few months.  We have used it already with a few of our customers and the feedback has been positive.  We were able to file one tax return within 10 minutes of the customer approving it!
